Not far from Tehran. Qom province is one of the smallest provinces of Iran, having some most important religious centres in itself.
History
The history of Qom city dates back to the Sassanid era, but most of the history of this area was formed after emerging of Islam in Iran.
Geography
Qom province is surrounded by Tehran, Semnan, Isfahan, and Markazi provinces. Most of it is covered by deserts.
Weather
Generally, its climate is warm and arid. Summer is not a good time to visit this province.
