Lorestan province is the land of springs, wetlands, and waterfalls. It’s situated in the west of Iran. One of the main 4 sections of Iran National Museum is dedicated to findings from this province.
History
Archeological findings show a very long history for this region.
Geography
This mountainous land is surrounded by the provinces of Hamadan, Markazi, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Ilam, and Charmahal. The province lies in the Zagros Mountains and is very rich in terms of water resources.
Climate
It’s called the land of four seasons. Spring is the best time for visiting this province.
